Duplicate a storage item
Enter identical pieces without typing them all: copy one, and type the new serial number.
Who can do this: Storage, Admin
Open the first one
When identical pieces come in, receive the first one, then open it.
Click Duplicate
Click Duplicate.
Type the serial number
Everything is copied except the number, the serial number and any damage. Type this unit’s Serial #.
Change anything else
Change anything else that is different, like a unit number in the Description.
Save it
Click Save Duplicate.
Do the next one
You land on the new item, with its own number. If there is another one, click Duplicate again.
