Yard and storage
You’ll have the Storage role. Everything customers leave in your yards goes on the storage list, under a number that matches the sticker on it.
Watch these in order
- Find a storage itemSearch the yard by number, customer or jobsite, and narrow the list with filters.
- Receive a storage itemEnter what comes off the truck, one piece after another, and print its label.
- Print blank storage labelsPrint numbered labels ahead of time, to stick on pieces as they come off the truck.
- Receive against a blank labelEnter a piece that already has a blank label on it, under the number on its sticker.
- Scan a storage stickerScan the QR code on a sticker with your phone, to receive the piece or open its page.
- Reprint or void a blank labelPrint a lost label again under the same number, or retire a number for good.
- Print labels for items in the yardPrint new stickers for items already on the list, a few at a time or one by one.
- Duplicate a storage itemEnter identical pieces without typing them all: copy one, and type the new serial number.
- Move or update a storage itemChange an item’s yard, location or status, and correct anything else on it.
- Mark items inactive, and bring them backTake items off the active list when they leave for good, and reactivate one if you need to.
- Void and restore a storage itemTake an item off the list when it should never have been there, and undo it if you need to.
- Create a storage ticketMake a numbered list of storage items, to print or send to a customer.
- Email a storage ticket to a customerDownload a ticket as a PDF, or send it from your own email.
- Export the storage listDownload the yard as a spreadsheet, the whole list or just the items you pick.
- Add a jobsiteAdd a place work happens at, so storage items, jobs and estimates can point at it.
- Add or change a yardAdd a place you keep storage items, change its details, or stop using it.
- Set up labels and the scan messageChoose your storage number prefix and label paper, and what strangers see when they scan.
